Many believe that science and faith are mutually exclusive. One is supposedly purely fact-based and provable, while the other exists only in the human psyche and is therefore mere imagination.

But the opposite is true: both reach their limits. If they overcome these limits, unbiased observers can see that both are talking about the same thing, simply using different languages, which is why mutual understanding is so difficult.

Pure materialism must be overcome, just as an antiquated image of God as "God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" must be.

These - Antithesis - Synthesis

The triad "thesis - antithesis - synthesis" by Johann Gottlieb Fichte (long erroneously attributed to Hegel) was used for a long time only by dialectical materialism. In the following sections, it takes on a completely new meaning:

Thesis
"Believe"

The Church's faith, from the birth of Christ to the present day, subordinates everything to God and views humanity as a dependent creature separate from God, who can only be freed from their sins by the Church in order to attain salvation. The foundation is solely the Holy Scriptures and their interpretation by the Church. Progress and independent thought are not required, as everything is to remain as it is. The question of the meaning of creation is coherently explained and, in part, answered.

Antithesis "Science" Science-based materialism focuses solely on matter and everything measurable, attempting to explain the world down to the smallest detail (reductionism). What cannot be scientifically grasped and measured does not exist until proven otherwise. Only progress and growth can satisfy humanity's needs. Other needs are considered merely private matters and rather disruptive to the economy. While science and technology have been very successful in satiating humanity's material hunger, at what cost? The question of the meaning of creation is not to be asked, as science has no answer. Everything is said to have arisen by chance, and the universe is merely a random fluctuation in the quantum foam. Science cannot even say whether planet Earth can withstand this.

Synthesis

"lived Spirituality"

People are allowed to experience that they are more than mere matter, and that they can resonate and communicate with one another on a spiritual level. They feel as connected to the universe and creation as they do to their neighbors and loved ones. They recognize that all people must now collectively assume responsibility for a healthy and life-sustaining environment on the entire planet Earth. They feel called to further develop creation for the benefit of all living beings on this planet. Nature and technology are no longer opposites but complement each other.

Why does science (still) have no proof of the subtle realm?

Science is hindered by its own rules. The reproducibility of experiments cannot be guaranteed. Memories of a past life are not repeatable. Most often, people remember emotional experiences, such as their own death or life-threatening situations, rather than names, birthdates, and addresses.
One way out is the empirical analysis of a large amount of data, as Dr. Pim van Lommel has done with near-death experiences. However, this contradicts the still-prevailing materialism, even though he has clear evidence that perception and thought can function completely independently of the body. But this evidence is not reproducible for individual cases, since such out-of-body near-death experiences cannot be repeated.
In contrast, the empirical social sciences, whose surveys generally cannot produce exactly the same results twice, are recognized as science because they do not violate materialism.
Attempts have been made to prove clairvoyance, precognition, and other paranormal abilities under scientifically controlled conditions, but the results of these experiments were too close to the probability threshold of chance to be accepted by science.
However, since Heisenberg's work, it has been known that the experimenter influences the experiment (Heisenberg's uncertainty principle), leading to the assumption that the experimental setup negatively impacted the paranormal abilities of the test subjects. Instead of changing the experimental conditions, the experiments were discontinued.
The only way forward is to think and act across disciplines. Information transfer has been proven to occur in quantum cryptography. However, this takes place in the non-material realm, which shouldn't exist at all, but this can be ignored because measurable transfer results exist.
Therefore, if there were serious research into the topic of "subtle matter" and if research funding were available, then scientifically sound findings on this subject would soon emerge.
Then, if there were serious research into "subtle matter" and research funding were available, scientifically sound findings would soon be available. Then, the answer lies in thinking and acting across disciplines. In homeopathy, which is also effective in plants and animals, this evidence for subtle energies already exists, but it is denied and downplayed by mainstream science, because what cannot be, must not be.
For if these findings were acknowledged, the materialistic worldview of current science would be definitively obsolete.

What science should do...

Let's go a step further and no longer consider reductionism the sole means of explaining the world. For while the decomposition into ever smaller units has led science to the depths of the atom's building blocks, it has yielded no result that truly explains the nature of matter. Under the observations of particle accelerators, matter literally dissolves into nothing. Instead, we find a "particle zoo" that diametrically contradicts quantum theory.

A new, holistic way of thinking, one that also incorporates the thoughts of scientists and reopens their minds to the wonders of the universe, can help reconcile science and spirituality.

Remember, beyond the particles lies the subtle realm.
